For those looking for a heart pounding aerobic sport that combines strength, endurance, a bit of brain power, and a lot of skill, we suggest grabbing a racket and heading off to the tennis court. We’re compiling a list of tennis courts around Metro Manila where you can do just that.

I also play table tennis and badminton. But tennis is I’ve been longing to learn for. Don’t have the chance because rackets are expensive and courts (open to public) are rare, unlike table tennis and badminton.
Now, I will pursue to learn and play tennis to be my regular recreational activity aside from playing badminton, table tennis, volleyball, bowling, and if there’s a chance baseball… ^_^

Hi! I really love tennis! Eto lang yung sport na gustong gusto kong laruin pero never ko pang nalalaro ^_^.
Though, mahilig akong manood ng tennis matches, iba pa rin pag naexperience mo ng laruin. Naging hurdle din kasi ang paghahanap ng tennis court dito sa Manila kasi halos lahat nasa private villages at exclusive clubs lang.
Sana meron ditong pwedeng magturo sa akin kasi never pa akong nakaswing ng tennis racket meaning ZERO experience at all. Like badminton, gusto ko rin itong maging hobby once matutunan ko ito.

sa Tondo, along abad santos highway, correct me if I’m wrong, it’s a shell court sabi ng matandang player na nakausap ko. senior na lng naglalaro dun, wala ng mga bata-bata pa, tulad ng mga taga-MAPUA nun na naglalaro . Sabi pa ng nakausap ko, 1500 membership fee daw good for 1 year na yun, and u can play all day long for only 20 pesos kung member ka and 50 pesos for non-member. 2 courts ung nandun. ok xah. ung nga lang puro senior na makakalaro hehehe may mga chinese. tapat lang pala ng PCC.

Are there regular leagues in the Rizal complex? I’m travelling around Asia and have Phils as a base. I’m a 4.5 player in the US … are there people I can play with over there? It seems tennis is not big in the country.

Hey everyone. I want to start a Facebook group where people can find other players and schedule meet-ups and games. You can announce there that you want to play at this venue at this time, and then people can respond and then ayun, laro na kayo.
We’ll start with a few people pero I think as the group grows larger mas madali na and we’ll be playing more often. You can go ahead and add your friends even.
OK lang kahit beginner kayo or advanced, dun na lang kayo sa Facebook group mag-discuss kung anong level kayo. The goal of this group is to connect players to each other and para malaman nila when a player will be available, therefore, Facebook might be a good venue.
It’s like an online tennis club of some sort.

I started taking lessons nung nov lng first sa dapitan then transferred to NDC sta mesa. im still taking tennis lessons twice a week dun pero gusto ko sana ng additional practice sessions. moved back to angono kasi from pasig.
