Ateneo Golf Club

The official golf club of (you guessed it) Ateneo golfers. This golf club features a mix of monthly golf tournaments geared towards helping build their foundation scholarship program. Below is an excerpt from its president:

Today, I am proud to mention that the AGF is now a legitimate organization with warm bodies, which will undertake all its activities and programs. Even now, the Foundation wheels are turning, ever on the look-out for young talented kids who might later become national and international champions.  Now we are able to indirectly assist our alma mater in its sports development programs as well as its students and alumni either through scholarships, monthly tournaments, summer golf camps and support for the GS, HS, and College golf teams.

La Salle Golf Club

The La Salle Golf Club is an organization setup to support the La Salle golfing community.  The site lists golfing events and resources related to the community. Below is an excerpt on the goals of the club from the chairman, Mr. Jose Tanjuatco:

In November 2004, the La Salle Golf Club (LSGC) was first organized as an alumni club of the De La Salle Alumni Association. It was then known as the DLSAA Golf Club. Its organization was premised on the following reasons: A significant number of Lasallian alumni are interested in golf as a sport and recreation.

Goals:

• To foster camaraderie and fellowship among Lasallian alumni and students through the game of golf
• To assist in organizing and developing golf programs and tournaments for the La Salle district schools and the Lasallian community
• To organize and manage golf tournaments with other schools and organizations
• To develop golf scholarship opportunities for student athletes
• To develop and work closely with School Administrators and Alumni Associations of the different district schools with a view towards achieving synergy and a relationship beneficial to all parties concerned
• To develop and promote golf as sports and recreation among Lasallian alumni and students.
